It would be easy to relabel an older number as a “2026 average.” Warehouse Fieldbook will not do that. Mazzella's latest public rack-inspection pricing article is explicitly a 2025 guide.

Inspection pricing is thinly published. A dated transparent quote is more useful than a fresh-looking number with no source. Use the published range to size the budget and obtain current bids for the actual facility.
Why a local inspection can be much cheaper
Local rack companies often price inspections by pallet-position count, rack type and system complexity rather than square footage. A forklift impact on Tuesday does not become safe because the annual inspection is scheduled for October. Event-driven inspection is part of rack ownership.
