When relevant evidence is available, the publication generally prioritizes:

1. current U.S. regulations and government guidance;
2. recognized standards organizations and industry bodies;
3. current manufacturer specifications, manuals and technical documentation;
4. current market examples used with explicit scope limitations;
5. secondary material when it adds context that cannot be obtained directly.

Costs and market examples

Warehouse equipment pricing changes with capacity, configuration, geography, installation, controls, freight, labor, duty cycle and project scope. Published examples are planning references rather than universal bids. Where the evidence does not support a defensible national number, the article should say so.

Calculators and planning models

Calculators are used when an objective relationship can improve planning. Inputs, assumptions and exclusions should be visible. A calculator is not used to simulate a structural, engineering, fire-code or safety determination that requires site-specific professional judgment.

Manufacturer examples
